End of the world this, spiritual awakening that. Everyone is just waiting around and looking for reassurance of something incredible happening while they’re alive, instead of just making something amazing happen. People get so caught up in their own fantasies that they blind themselves to the greater things happening around them. I know this is subjective coming from a being that benefits from it, but I feel like life is the greatest show in the Universe. It’s on for such a short period of time so you have the choice of either enjoying it or not. No matter your choice, you’re a part of that. It feels like an exotic error in nature. Nature, being its disorderly and chaotic self accidentally created a glimpse of chance, a flash of order among beautiful disaster.
And we just spit at this chance and our capabilities, where we could be, what we could do. What we see and where we live in now, on Earth, is a momentary event that I can assure you will not last forever like you’d hope. We weren’t put here for any particular reason and that’s okay, I like the idea of an open-ended story. But it’s beautiful to know that chances would allow for the evolution of life on a nurturing section of the galaxy far from the black hole making it all spin. That the same event that can tear us apart and reconfigure our matter can also eventually turn star dust into planets, islands, and animals like us and those around us. Few understand it, we don’t need to look for spiritual awakenings and fairy tales to mystify us.. we are already awake and we are already living a fairy tale. If you acknowledge that you are not in the Universe but in fact a part of it, that would mean you are a section of the Universe that understands what it is. You are the Universe awoken. And that’s a pretty fuckin crazy fairy tale when you think about it.
